James started working in radio eons ago (1996 to be honest) and has worked all over the place. He started working with his Co-Presenter Madame Aries in February 2007 when RSL Gaydio placed the two together.

Although James has worked with Madame Aries in the past this was their first radio collaboration. The Show was such a success it was decided to carry it on as a pod cast when the broadcast finished and it returned in August 2007. The Matinee’s fame had grown by this time and James found himself invited to all the show premiers, a task that he performs reluctantly.

Filling himself with complimentary alcohol is not something he is used to although he struggles through. It was during the August broadcast that James met friend of the show Nicki French and since that day the tone has never been raised.

After Gaydio went off air this time,103.6FM Tameside Radio were knocking on the door and it is a pleasure to bring the show to his local community. James fills his spare time with free champagne and musical theatre. He also has a passion for alternative rock as these two styles go hand in hand.

Madame Aries is cabaret performer of over 25 years experience who has always had a love for musical theatre.

After the initial Gaydio broadcast of August 2006 she was paired for the subsequent broadcast with James Dean. A young man that she has had the pleasure of working with and knowing as a friend for quite some time, something she feels has added to the success of the Matinee shows (This was not written by James…HONEST).

Madame A feels that coming to Tameside radio has broadened the scope of the show and brought the show to whole new audience in an area she has enjoyed socialising for over 10 years. She still thoroughly enjoys the experience despite being relatively new the whole radio experience. She was born in*CENSORED*                                                                                                                                                                                                                James Dean, Stephen Gately & Madame Aries
